“We have lived in Castle Combe at the Weavers House since 1984. A period of substantially more than 30 years. Over the last year Jack Heard has been our Gardener, & in addition to maintaining the Garden he has made & carried out a number of innovative projects which has given the Garden Depth & Interest improving its aesthetic design substantially. Jack is a Gardener well beyond the average, & we are fortunate enough to avail ourselves of his abilities.

Mr Brian Beazer (Weavers House, Castle Combe)

1I had a problem with a large bank of weeds, i battled with it for a years trying to make it look nice taking advice from different gardening professionals, but it always got the better of me. Without spending a fortune Jack came along and fixed it, its now a smart tidy bank with the right plants growing on it.

He was practical, very hardworking and did not try to sell me the most expensive option.

I always feel Jack genuinely tries to help as well as having brilliant design ideas, lots more to do here Jack.

Thank you

 Becky Dymond-Hall (Applegates Stud)

We were very pleased with the way jack redesigned the lawn and flower bedsof our small garden, which had been something of an infestation of spanish bluebells and a tangle of shrubs and plants. At the beginning jack produced two lovely line and wash drawings of his proposals for our consideration.

The design and the replanting contained some existing elements as jack had an eye for economy as well as design, and he incorporated features we still remained fond of while being imaginative and radical in other ways.

Jack always arrived promptly on agreed days and we were always astonished at how much work we could achieve in a day. Clearing the garden and laying the brick path borders called for hard physical labour.

He also accompanied me to the nursery to choose plants coming up with good ideas and advice. After Planting, the garden has been transformed with each day Jack worked for us producing huge results. We are very happy with everything he did.
